The product I purchased was the 72 pencil case in the bohemian design. My daughters and I love to color and draw. We have accumulated lots of pencils and markers so I thought that having a nice case like this would make it easier to find the specific maker or pencil we were looking for. I also thought this pencil wrap would help to make our pencils and markers more portable. When I first opened the package, I was surprised by how thick the canvas fabric was. Both the outer bohemian fabric and the lining fabric appear to be very durable. The elastic is evenly spaced and well sewn in. The entire case is incredibly well made. I have been sewing for 40 years and sloppy stitching really bugs me. The stitching on this case is nearly perfect. It looks like a hand crafted item. The colors on the pattern were as I expected. The bohemian pattern is bold and colorful. Very cheerful. The case came with six beads (three designs, 2 of each design) wrapped in a plastic bag. I decided to put all six beads on but it looked nice without any at all.The dimensions given in the product description (32 inches long and 8 inches high) are accurate. The flap that is design to cover the pencil leads is long enough to cover the leads and is sewn down at each end. I do wish it were sewn down in the middle. When I roll it up, I sometimes have to tuck it in a bit. I will probably tack it down in a few spots. We decided to put 36 colored pencils and 36 markers in our pencil wrap. All of them slipped in easily. Maybe this is only a problem with our pencils - the elastics do not even need to stretch when the pencil is inserted. This makes them a bit loose. If the pencil case is grabbed quickly while it is open, some pencils will come out. The markers stay in fine. There is a larger elastic that could be used for a sharpener or eraser. Our eraser is too small (falls out) and our pencil sharpener is too big. We just left that slot empty for now.The loose elastics contribute to a bigger problem. If the pencil wrap is picked up the wrong way, the pencils will slide out. It must be picked up and carried around with the pencil lead flap on the bottom. We have have picked it up wrong several times and have had to pick up pencils several times. Not exactly what you want to be doing when you are grabbing this on your way out of the house. We have learned to check, so it is not an issue unless we are in a hurry and forget to look which side is up. This problem could be remedied by putting an additional flap on top. When deciding what star rating to give this product, I decided that the pencils not fitting tightly was a big enough deal that I could not give this product 5 stars. It is a solid 4.5 stars but that is not an option. I do not regret purchasing this item. It is a well made case and it holds a lot of pencils/markers. Maybe it is the brand of colored pencils we use. For reference, we use Crayola brand colored pencils.I just received my 72ct pencil roll today. So far I am really liking it. The fabric is heavy canvas. Some complained of the flap that covers the pencil tips were a problem as it buckled up when rolling this closed. I slowly rolled mine shut while using my left hand to tuck that flap up and hold it as I went and it looks perfect rolled up. When I wash this at some point, I will do so in cold water and I am guessing that it will require an iron to flatten it back out nicely. I find it rather long when opened and I am questioning if it will become cumbersome to deal with in my lap. For that concern I almost ordered 2 of the 36ct rolls but then I wondered if 2 rolls rather than 1 would be a bother so I opted for the 72. Time will tell for me. I have been using the Samaz pencil cases with the smiley zipper pulls. Unfortunately, I am having trouble with new cases arriving with the elastic loops not sewn correctly and my pencils sliding out. After having them replaced, those replacements were even worse. Then I began the hunt for something better. I have purchased Global Art leather cases and now this pencil roll. The 72 is rather balky when rolled, but not much thicker than my samaz cases. Would I recommend buying this product? Yes. I would suggest hand washing it. The two ties were of equal length and the beads came with it which I decided to add. The workmanship was very good, I was surprised. Some complained this was overpriced. As one who sews, I know it can be time consuming so you pay for the labor and fabric is not cheap either. I am using mine for Derwent Coloursoft pencils. They are bigger in diameter than regular pencils such as prismacolor, so I cannot attest to how well the loops secure the smaller size and if they are small enough to keep them from sliding out.I bought this pencil wrap because I wanted something to hold my pens and pencils for my journaling. After reading countless reviews on many varieties of similar products, I decided that this may be the best fit for me. To my great satisfaction, it was!!The first thing I noticed was how neatly folded the wrap was inside a plastic pouch with 6 colorful beads included. No damage, no creases in the material. Very nice presentation. The second thing I noticed was the material. It seems very durable and well made. The tassels were sewn in strong and had no fringes in the braids. The stitching and fabric overall is quite beautiful. I immediately untied the tassel knots and added my colorful beads to the end. I've got to say that I love the look!Thirdly, I wanted to try out a variety of pens and pencils, to see how they fit (as you can see in the photos). I tried my Prismacolor colored pencils, which fit and look wonderful! My Staedtler triplus fineliner pens also fit beautifully. I tried my Micron pens, Faber-Castell's and Sharpies as well...they were a bit snug, but seem to fit in the loops. However they do bunch up just a little, but I don't mind it. Personally I wouldn't try to put anything larger than these pens or markers in this pouch, because the elastics are almost at their limits with these as it is.In my 48-loop canvas wrap, I managed to fit my 24 Prismacolor colored pencils, 10 Staedtler pens,5 Micron pens, 4 Faber-Castell pens, 2 #2 pencils, 2 Pentalic Graphites and a magic eraser, with still 1 1/2 wide eraser spots to spare and 1 spot that I couldn't quite fit anything (in between my Microns and Faber-Castell's, because they are so thick). When I roll it up, it actually looks nice. I'm not worried about anything falling out when I tip it over on its side, because everything seems to fit very well. I also love how there is an overlap of fabric on the inside to protect my pencil tips.Overall, I didn't go wrong with this wrap. I will probably buy more for me and my family for Christmas gifts!!I guess I wasn't expecting too much from this purchase - I simply wanted a way to keep my pencils under control. However I'm impressed. This really is a well made product. There are two layers of fabric - the outer colourful one and an inner of plain fabric. They are well stitched and fairly heavy quality fabric. I've got (currently) 48 coloured pencil but I intentionally bought the 72 to allow for extras. The elastic loops that take the pencil hold them well and the points are well protected by a top fold over flap. My pencil are numbers so I've been able to put them in order so that I can easily see them and find the one I want. If I'm using a number of shades while working I take the pencil from the "ordered" position and put them in the currently unused area which means I can find the ones I'm using easily if I have a break or am interrupted. An excellent buy that I am well pleased with.... so I love it too. I went for the full 72 set of pencils I absolutely love my wrap! Gorgeous material, robust, lovely embellishments in the beads. Going to buy another! With 72 items in, it is really bulky. I'd rather have two with fewer items, leaving gaps between pencils and pens. I haven't used the large gaps for rubbers, sharpeners etc - they're too big and those items fall out.My bohemian pencil arrived today - three days early - brilliant. It's absolutely everything I was expecting. I can't wait to show my daughter, who like me enjoys relaxing with her grown up colouring book. Thank you for bringing order to my pencils and gel pensI like this pencil case a little bit too much!! It's cute and it does what it says on the tin (or on the product link, whatever) I love it because all my coloured pencils are laid out in rainbow colour order, I don't have to fiddle about trying to find a certain colour. It's well made as well. As my colouring pencil collection grows I shall be buying more of these in different designs. For 8quid, you're on to a winner really.
